Although we had... read more While exploring Tallinn, heavy rain led us down inviting steps to a vibrant and beautiful cafe. A table for two in the corner was ready for us. Although we had already eaten, we had some drinks and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of this place. If you pass by, you will be captivated by the explosion of colors!

The cafe's location is superb. It is close to the center with a great view, but the prices for beer and food are much more affordable. You can unwind here, enjo... read more The cafe's location is superb. It is close to the center with a great view, but the prices for beer and food are much more affordable. You can unwind here, enjoying high-quality beers (especially the honey beers) while taking in the town scenery. We found it to be the perfect spot to rest and recharge whenever we got tired from walking.

Added to that, you also get service with a smile, unlike our experience of the main square! We revisited again the same day and chose to eat. The food was lovely. We shared a pizza and a warm duck salad. Overall we couldn't fault it.

The waitress was truly... read more Locate on the side of the old town square with beautiful scenery is Margo's Cafe. We already had lunch elsewhere and wanted only a beer. The waitress was truly delightful. Quick and witty service, offering to take a foto and fantastic local beer. The menu looked great and I wished we could have eaten there.

The... read more After reading the others review I was really surprised that they seem to have liked the Café and restaurant that much. Maybe we stumbled upon a bad day.... The food was really good but nothing special. We had the fish soup for a starer and although it was tasty it was just really a vegetable broth with some fish thrown into. As a main we had a salad (can't make anything wrong with that) and the salmon with a lemon-cheese-sauce. This one was really good although the sauce was a bit off. Our waitress was really terrible and unfriendly. She was sometimes not the least bit attentive and at other times she could hardly wait till we had our meal finished to snitch away our plates although one of us was still eating. And she never ever looked straight at us. We were seated outside so at least the view to the Olde Hansa and the market place was really nice and we got to enjoy a little music with a medieval touch from the restaurant next to ours.
