Read the reviews on this restaurant thru Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. The building itself could use some TLC in and out. The food was great. Definitely not disappointed. If you like Chinese food and are passing thru, this is worth a try. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Castle Restaurant:
I was disappointed that they don't give a discount for birthdays. The Castle always used to. We were there for lunch. I didn't enjoy as none of the food that is usually on buffet wasn't there, like ginger beef, sweet and sour pork. View all feedback.
The food has been less than extraordinary lately. Not much for meat in the courts. Super expensive for what you come out
Based on the exterior of building and as we walked in and seen the interior....we were a little leary of what the food would be like. Based on other reviews from trip advisor we took the chance. This was EXCELLENT food! seems to be cooked in small batches to keep the buffet table fresh and full.Flavours were excellent and so fresh. Even though we overate as usual, we did not suffer the usual Chinese food revenge so this place gets a thumbs up from us!
Pretty good Chinese for a great price. I'm never disappointed! The family that runs the place is always friendly and helpful. I've never been disappointed here!
Reasonably good food, friendly staffSome of the food seems to be of cheap quality, but what can you expect at this price point.
We stopped in for lunch while traveling through because we heard about the restaurant over the radio, and we were quite surprised at how good everything was, we have had so many hit and miss Chinese buffets but castle restaurant was a definite hit, lots of options and reasonable price with on the ball service, despite being very busy there was never an empty bin on the buffet, everything was fresh and hot.
