I have been coming here for over 20 years. I had lunch here the other day, as I have weekly for the past 5 months. I sit under the stairs, the service is always friendly and sincere. I pretty much always order the Italian loaf and a spanakopita, and, about always they are out of the spano, it is what is it is. I have always loved coming here, a must see in Edmonton. What User doesn't like about Zenari's:
It's noisy, it's super busy, it's fun. It is fast food, Italian style. Their coffees are great, I mean REAL coffee like Espresso or Capuchino, not one of those flavoured "coffee drinks." Good place to pick up European kitchen utensils too. View all feedback.

Daily specials include homemade soups, scones and muffins, salads, pasta and a variety of specialty sandwiches. Food is outstanding and servers are friendly and attentive. A very reasonable great place for lunch!
Even thought it was a Saturday in the downtown core, this deli style restaurant was still busy, so we decided to give it a try. The menu selection was great and the food was tasty. The thing we liked the best was the atmosphere. You could get the vibe it was a family run place and that gave it a comforting feel. I imagine it gets busy during the week but it was a great weekend stop for us. A more detailed review is below:Ambiance – busy enough to give it a fun vibe, yet you could tell it was family run as the staff seemed to be proud of their foodFood – typical of a deli like this but it was very tasty and we enjoyed itStaff – as it was our first time there, one of the owners helped us navigate the menu and made some great suggestionsPrice – our meal for two (without drinks or tip) came to about $20. About average for a downtown deli lunchWe enjoyed it and would return if we were back in the areaThanks for reading….hope it helps...happy travels!
I go here often. Breakfast, have a breakfast Crostini and an almond milk latte. Lots if milk choices. Lunch, everyday the soup is something special, i love the mushroom soup and the corn chowder. For lunch there's something for all dietary choices. Im a fan of the italian burger with salad (no carb.) And I've been here for after-work drinks with tapas, as well as dinner. It's always good. If you go with the kids, sit in the restaurant, or if it's a date night sit out at the bar near the piano, no kids. Sometimes there's a piano player...there's a pretty good wine selection. If you're early enough you can do some shopping too....many stores nearby. The service is lovely, I've never had a bad experience.
Zenari's is a cute little place to have lunch on weekdays, they have fast service and great sandwiches, it does get quite busy though so plan ahead and get there before noon or it can take you up to 30 minutes to get your order. Prices are reasonable.
