The staff is really nice here, and the atmosphere is great; they even have a robot that can bring you your food. The food is hit and miss, depending what you're getting. That being said, we've ordered in a few times and went to the restaurant once, and will go back. View all feedback.
What Ma Aidonna Louise Heigh dislikes about Jay Bee's Diner North:
We were really looking forward to dining here based on the reviews, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The mushroom soup had a texture that reminded us of slurried flour, and the sausage and ham were overcooked. We also ordered hash browns, but they turned out to be dry. Overall, we spent $70, and while the service was excellent, the food was quite disappointing. View all feedback.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Jay Bees Diner for lunch, and we were completely enchanted by the atmosphere. The diner perfectly blends authentic vibes with a modern twist. The menu was straightforward and easy to navigate, and our server demonstrated impressive knowledge about the dishes offered. We indulged in the nachos, which were generously topped; the chicken and waffles, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside; a classic fish and chips that was bursting with flavor; and the house-recommended beef brisket sandwich, which quickly became our favorite! We also enjoyed a milkshake and a smoothie from the juice bar, both served in nostalgic gusto mugs that took us back in time. As we wrapped up our meal, we had the delightful opportunity to meet the owner, Sam, who was not only friendly but also quite humorous, adding to our overall experience. If you appreciate the diner experience, Jay Bees Diner is a must-visit! P.S. A special mention to the adorable robot cat that delivered our food to the table!
I've visited this restaurant several times and normally have been satisfied. However, tonight the service was terrible. It was extremely slow, and they got my friend's order wrong. To make matters worse, the automated robot kept bumping into my friend's chair, forcing her to move. The server didn't offer any apologies at all. I would mention her name, but I’ll hold off. I used to recommend this place, but I can no longer do so.
