What User likes about Tacos La Mexicana:
Small and quaint. Some may call it a hole in the wall and we all know those are some of the best places to eat. This restaurant does not disappoint. Enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, even calamari are all offered on the menu. Mexican sodas can be found in the cooler. We orders the Plato del Fish Tacos (3) and Steak quesadilla for two of us. I hate when people advertise Mexican as if it was as simple as putting something in a tortilla, I tried five different tacos, they were less than ok, I felt cheated, the price is also a bit high for that kind of food, the lady was very kind but still kind of slow. there are other mexican options in edmonton, don't waste your time/money. The restaurant is small and charming. Some may describe it as a hidden gem, and we all know those are often the best places to dine.
I have been a regular at this restaurant for some time and absolutely adore it.
I visited a small restaurant with modest decor and bathrooms, but the food was excellent. I ordered the steak enchilada for $9.95 and it was really delicious.
I had the 3 Taco special. The price was great, service was great. I didn't know they had fish tacos, though. Staff is very friendly!
Food is decent but very very slow service. We had fish and beef tacos. Took forever. Probably will not be back.

read moreThe Mexican restaurant in Edmonton offers a variety of dishes including tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas. The prices are average for the quality of the food, and the atmosphere is small and quaint. The food is decent, with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, but not exceptional compared to other burrito joints in the area. The dining area could use some cleaning, but overall it's a nice place to stop for some Mexican cuisine. While some dishes like fish tacos and steak quesadillas were tasty, the salsa and guacamole were not homemade. Authentic Mexican sodas are available.
