Our first visit was amazing. The meals were all really good and the portions were way more than we needed. I look forward to going again.I loved the stir fry with black bean sauce. A friend had the pad Thai which was also delicious.
We've dined at many restaurants in Edmonton but have never encountered such poor customer service. His attitude was passive-aggressive, and his fake sincerity was evident to everyone. If he had behaved poorly towards all customers, I might have thought he was just having a tough day, but he was pleasant and friendly to other people behind us. The only reason I'm writing this review is that when I mentioned to another server how I wished Yong could be nicer as we were leaving, she went and informed him. They both were looking at us and laughing. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. I do not recommend it at all! I wish Syphay would address this kind of attitude.
