My family took me here for a birthday dinner, at my request. I had seen on Global, the fried chicken, and was really excited to try. Since there was 3 big meat eaters with me, we had the sampler platter, and added extra fried chicken. We decided on sides of the garlic fries, the Brussel sprouts, beans, and corn bread. The service was very fast and friendly, and great explanation of the menu, for new visitors. The sampler platter was more than enough for all, and with the sides, we were stuffed, no room for dessert! Everyone agreed the brisket was the star of the meal, so we even took home a pound for the next day, although it wasn't trimmed of the fat as well as you get in the dining room. You do tend to get a salt overload here, ESP, the garlic fries, but you can't stop eating them. We loved the Brussels sprouts , but no one finished the beans. A bit smoky for our taste.
