The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and serves delicious food. They offer some excellent brunch choices. The fried eggs in the Benny were perfectly cooked, and the flavors were simple yet sweet. The breakfast bowl also featured delightful, uncomplicated tastes that were satisfying and filling. The coffee was enjoyable, though the glassware tends to cool it down fairly quickly (the ceramic cups do the same). Overal... View all feedback.
What Deagan May dislikes about District Café Bakery:
I ordered a large Chai latte for $5.50 CAD, which was decent but not worth the price. The service was quick, but the front receptionist spoke so softly that it was hard to hear her. Charming café located off Jasper. I've primarily had the breakfast items, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches. The other food options also look delightful. I hope to try the baked goods soon, as they appear absolutely delicious. In the picture is the truffle mushroom breakfast sandwich, but I've also tried the bacon version, which is served on a fluffy milk bun.
The staff here are so rude! I thought maybe it was just my first experience but I went back two more ! times to try and support a local business and every single time the cashiers were just so impolite and standoffish for absolutely no reason. Ruined the entire vibe of a place that I think could be excellent but when you're greeted by such a sour person repeatedly! it's a huge turnoff. Spend your money elsewhere.

I like the fact that their hot coffee drinks menu is simple and not too over elaborate tells me they have a higher quality coffee. As matter of fact I have their latte and was very rich, smooth and creamy
