Nom nom!!!! I have had steak tartare before and always think it is a little plain. This version is more like a good pub food with deep fried eye bread and RAW GARLIC. We ordered one each as recommended by the server and it was a great idea. The room is beautiful with thick wood tables and a long bar with vintage lighting. Bright and cozy. I will go again soon View all feedback.
What Elliot Campbell doesn't like about Accent Lounge:
There were not many great food choice choices. Drink selection was not the best and prices were steep. Dirty martinis were not so great. The service was average. Server did not engage with us much. Parking is difficult as well. View all feedback.
Called the other night to make a reservation. This little oasis of quiet in the Whyte Avenue area is now closed. The message says it has been bought by a lovely couple. I look forward to see what comes of the new space.
My wife and I have been here many times over the years and each and every time we will bring friends to introduce them to this venue first hand. We have not had any problems before but the last 2 visits were the worst ever! Accent Lounge is a very small and cozy set up and I guess that is why the owner/operator does not feel the need to have more than one server at any given time...be it weekend or otherwise. My wife and I spend 6 months in Edmonton and 6 months somewhere else our dart takes us. Whenever we 're back we would like to head to our regular haunts (provided it hasn 't closed down on us) and most often than not we would bring good friends along to enjoy the atmosphere and the great food at the Accent Lounge. We enjoyed ourselves in Nov Dec 2017....Jan May 2018 but we truly cannot understand the attitude of our server during our last 2 visits,. His name is NIck, and he 's such an obnoxious server that I seriously can 't believe I came back for more. When we brought our friends on May 16th for a nice evening I thought Nick 's attitude was due to the fact that it was a busy evening. I had a party of five on May 23rd and we were all so blardy flabbergasted at Nick 's nonchalant and lackadaisical attitude in serving. Unbelievable!! The star rating is for the hard working kitchen staff who has managed to be consistent in the food quality. One more thing....when ordering draft beers I would expect cold beers. Not cool/luke warm especially from the tap!! Recommended but.... 'Be Aware of Nick! '
My daughter and I came in for dinner last night. We enjoyed it. We saturday on the patio, it was a gorgeous night. It was busy and the service was very good. We tried the Beef Carpaccio and the Bacon wrapped Lobster Bites as appetizers. The steak and the Four Seasons salad with Chicken as mains. Everything was very good. Thank you

Went to Accent lounge for an early Valentines night out. Started with a couple on tap beers cant remember the name but it had a earthy beery taste and went down smooth.Ordered the 4 season salad and bocconcinni and then had the lobster bites, so yummy. For main course we both had the dijon salmon on noodles with fresh veggies that included zucchini broccoli peppers and cauliflower. Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. We then shared the apple strudel for dessert which topped off a great meal. We will be back.
