Thai By Day

Thai By Day
4.8 / 5 (786 reviews)

Description

Edmonds’ Thai by Day offers inventive, largely excellent Thai with fresh, often organic ingredients, house herbs and strong vegan/gluten-free options. Standout dishes, creative poptail cocktails, generous portions and a stylish waterfront interior make it a favorite for families, groups and takeout. Guests praise friendly service, value and unique flavors, though some report inconsistent execution, occasional cleanliness issues and variable service. Overall a popular, versatile destination with bold flavors and a loyal following.

However, the food was absolutely fantastic, both in flavor and value. We will definitely order from here again in the future. We just hope that if the woman was having a rough day, things have improved for her since then, and perhaps we can enjoy a more pleasant interaction next time.

This restaurant offers more than just the typical Thai dishes. Everything is fantastic, including the classic options! The staff are truly welcoming and provide outstanding service. Don't miss out on trying the puffed shrimp chips! I can’t wait for our next visit.

Wow, the food and service here are absolutely fantastic! I'm from Portland and have tried a lot of Thai cuisine, but this was among the top three I've ever had! The mango sticky rice was the best I’ve ever tasted, and the lime-infused Thai tea was unlike anything I’ve had before! Everything we ordered was delicious! I will definitely make it a point to come back every time I'm in Edmonds! The server was also incredibly friendly!

Walked into a very dirty restaurant filled with boxes and plants. Tables were not clean. TV was droning on and entire place smelled old. Had satay and coconut shrimp as well as pad se ew. All of these items were very bland and the peanut sauce that came with the satay was lumpy. The shrimp dish didn’t taste like coconut at all and was mainly onions? The chicken in the pad se ew was extremely overcooked. It was very expensive. I have heard nothing but excellent things about this place so I made the mistake of bringing someone for their birthday. I’m baffled by the good reviews? I wanted to love it but there was nothing to love.

I am visiting from out of town and had lunch here. I loved it so much that I went a second time. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. There are plenty of options for my daughter who is vegan. Highly recommend!
