I used to love Spud years ago. I've tried this one a couple times this year and won't try again. The fish is good. The fries are soggy and greasy. $1.79 gets you about 1/4 cup of coleslaw and the cabbage is fresh but the sauce is barely there. Ifinished the pieces of cod but tossed everything else. Register woman was not particularly nice to the elderly woman ahead ofme.
Basically school cafeteria quality fish and chicken. Mostly bread and grease. Chicken is very dry and probably comes from a bag of frozens. Didn?t offer any sauce for the chicken strips. No napkins at the service window. Slow service. However, one of thebest milkshakes I have ever had, so there?s that. Also way overpriced for fried fish the width of a slice of bologna.
