This was our second experience working with Shooby-Doo Catering for a wedding of over 125 guests. The wide range of menu options made it fun to explore and choose our dishes, all of which were delicious and beautifully plated. Their event team offered outstanding support, managing every detail with clear and prompt communication. The wait staff was exceptional, demonstrating genuine care and kindness toward our guests. We highly recommend Shooby-Doo Catering and eagerly anticipate partnering with them again!

We recently had Shooby Doo cater our wedding, and I cannot express how incredible it was. During our search for a caterer, we discovered Shooby Doo Catering, tried just one of their dishes, and knew immediately that we didn’t need to look any further. Their food is a delightful fusion of Asian and American cuisines, perfectly balancing flavors without being overly salty or overwhelming. While everything was fantastic, I want to highlight a few standout items from our menu. They offer a large selection but were more than willing to customize our choices. First up, the Ahi Poke Taco—made with sushi-grade ahi tuna marinated in shoyu sesame, Asian spicy slaw, a crispy wonton shell, and sriracha lime kewpie mayo topped with micro cilantro. This appetizer was absolutely amazing! I had tried it at their partner restaurant, Bar Dojo, and knew it would be a hit. Several of our guests enjoyed 3-4 of them before the main meal even arrived! Next, the Seared Scallops—jumbo U-10 scallops that were perfectly caramelized and served with a lemon beurre blanc. These scallops were enormous and seasoned to perfection. The chefs truly exhibited their skill, ensuring none of the scallops were overcooked or rubbery. They were absolute perfection! Then there was the Braised Pork Belly (GF, DF)—all-natural pork belly glazed with honey lemon hoisin, served alongside fresh scallions and pickled cucumber. We were uncertain about this dish when we selected it, but surprisingly, about a third of our guests opted for it over the braised beef and scallops. Even my brother, who tasted everything, declared it his favorite. The pork belly was as smooth as butter and balanced wonderfully with the scallions and pickled cucumber. You really can’t go wrong with Shooby Doo. Ariana, the person I communicated with, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly leading up to the big day. You won't be disappointed!
