What a discovery! This hidden gem is located inside the Boo Han market. Everything is freshly made and absolutely delicious! We haven't been able to catch them making hottoek yet, but no worries—we'll keep returning until we find the right time and day. The cream cheese and azuki bean taiyaki, or fish bread, is made fresh and tastes fantastic! The kimbap is excellent as well!
Koo's Grill is a small restaurant situated right at the entrance of a Korean grocery store. They offer indoor seating and a variety of Korean dishes, but I was specifically there for the kimbap! They prepare it fresh on the spot, and you can actually see the crafting station. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted in Korean by a kind older lady. Unfortunately, as a Vietnamese speaker, I didn't understand anything. However, I must say the bulgogi kimbap is really delicious, and I will definitely return to try some of the other fillings!
I visited this restaurant twice. On my first visit, they closed early, and on my second visit, they were on a lunch break at 4 PM. It seems like they don't know how to operate a business properly.
Known for their super fresh Gimbap, they also have Ho-tteok, tteok bokki, red bean taiyaki, made on the spot, take out and Cash only! Just head inside Boo Han Market it’s after the entrance. Closed Monday.
