Sigiri
Description
Sigiri delivers an intimate, authentic Sri Lankan experience with fresh, homemade dishes — from string hoppers and appams to lamprais, mutton and fish rolls, and deviled cuttlefish. A welcoming owner and friendly staff offer spot-on recommendations; prices and portions feel generous. The cozy, art-filled space includes a small attached grocery and suits families, food explorers, and small gatherings, with catering available for events. Occasional spice-level inconsistencies and limited seating are the only caveats.

I rarely give out 5-star reviews, but I've been here about six times now, and it deserves it. The homemade ingredients make me want to start a meal plan with this restaurant. The decor is a bit dimly lit but still nice and comfortable. Although the restaurant isn't very large, if you enjoy a family-style atmosphere, this is definitely the place to be. As for the food, I highly recommend trying the chicken wrapped in banana leaves; it’s quite authentic with its spices. The prices are very reasonable, and the host is a polite gentleman who always recommends the best dishes based on your preferences. There's also a grocery store attached, so you can pick up some ethnic foods if you want to try your hand at Sri Lankan cooking. Overall, I can confidently give this establishment a strong 5-star rating.
The food was absolutely delightful! We started our meal with hoppers, yellow rice, curry, and Lumpries as appetizers, and we loved every bite.
I ordered two trays of chicken curry and eggplant mohi for my dad's birthday party. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and we received plenty of positive comments. We’ll definitely be ordering them again for my niece’s birthday party next month.
The food and service were amazing. Every dish was delicious, but the crab curry was exceptional and is a must-try!
I absolutely loved the food at Sigiri! I was searching for authentic home-cooked Malaysian Indian and Sri Lankan dishes and was fortunate to find this place. The food was outstanding. The appam with jaggery was flawlessly made, and the deviled cuttlefish was fresh, served with generous, tender vegetables and onions. The lamb curry was delicious as well. But the vegetable lunch truly stood out as the best I've ever had! To complete the experience, the Sri Lankan tea was superb, and the service was exceptional. We were thrilled with our decision to dine here!
