Amazing place for indian snacks. We tasted pav bhaji, dahi puri, sandwich and mango lassi. Everything was delicious, nicely presented and fresh. Value for money.. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Honest:
Have tried before in honest in Piscataway. I kind of liked that better in taste. Edison was good too, but not dishes. We ordered some veg Hakka noodles and sHezwan friend rice . Both were ok. We also had manchurian dry . Not sure may be I ordered the wrong item for this place. Not sure what they specialize in .. Will try chaat items and Indian food next time . I will give it 4 star. Deducting 1 star for hygiene
PavBhaji was excellent. Paan was good. I was not a fan of the paneer sandwich. Loaded with cheese and I dint like it. But the sandwich was good though.
Horrible food!! This place should be closed for bad hygiene. There was hair in two dishes white rice and hakka noodles. Manchurian had less salt and was undercooked.
Review based on one dine-in and one take-out experience. 1. Extremely rude staff member at reception. Lacks basics of customer service 101. Treats customers as if he is there to discipline them, not serve them. Had it not been for his rudeness, I'd probably not have bothered to write this review. In a nutshell, his rudeness was the cherry (oops! grease on the icing (read: gravy that prompted me to write this review. 2. Below average, unhealthy food. All gravies on menu pretty much taste the same and are loaded with unhealthy (what looks and tastes like palm oil grease. 3. See pic for above reference. No Indian dish needs that much oil for cooking and tasting good. And, That's only the amount of oil we were able to drain out from that little bit of gravy (Nargisi Kofta in the bowl. That's enough oil to make a whole new dish for 6! There's probably double the amount still floating in that bowl. 4. Overpriced food for the quality and experience. It's a rip-off. And who serves $7 naans even after the recent inflation accounted for ?? 5. Wish I could rate the place less than 1 star. 6. Never going again for that unhealthy, unsavory experience. 7. Recommend staying away if you care for your health! :
Worst restaurant event...where do we start... in this pandemic the way they operate is really questionable. I just wonder how the Edison health department has not shut down the restaurant yet. second of all, the food quality is yuck...i mean there are at least 25 restaurants on Oak Tree and I would rate this place at the bottom. Third, the prices.. i mean cmon, this is not 5 or 4 rated restaurant but prices are like 7 star... $5.49 for a garlic nan ???????? cmon... there is no gold on the naan : ... PLEASE DO NOT GO!!
