The Edison location has never let me down and consistently proves to be a better-managed restaurant than its peers. The Crapplebee’s in Union nearby Kean Univetsity is by far the worst one (slow subpar service and bad desserts).
My boyfriend and I decided to grab some food and drinks after work. Upon arrival, we parked in their lot and experienced a brief wait before getting seated, but the staff was prompt. We found a table near the bar that was socially distanced from other patrons. Our server and bartender, Ally, was handling things on her own in the bar area, but she did a great job and was quite attentive. My boyfriend ordered wings and fries along with a vodka tonic and their $5 snowball drink. He mentioned that the wings were just okay, but he enjoyed the fries. I had two vodka tonics, which were also good. Overall, it was an affordable date without any issues.
I am beyond amazed at our favorite server named Ray. We have a 15 month old daughter upon our first time bringing her to a restaurant when she was about 8 months old he was our waiter. He is so attentive provides quality service. He is friendly, kind, smart, and all around amazing. He helped us feel comfortable having her out during such a crazy time. I went there another night with just my daughter and I and he was happy to see us again a few months later. He remembered her name took the time to serve us and continue to get to know us. Truly an incredible man with great energy!! Today was our 3rd time seeing him we requested to have him as our server. We were told he actually just got off. You wont believe this but he came to sit with us!! This sweet man stopped by on his way out after working a double, and of course we told him to sit with us. We shared experiences with our children and you can tell he truly loves what he does. All I can say is that I have never in my life had a dining experience that he provides each time we are there. This man deserves recognition for all his hard work. What a blessing
The food is incredible, and the service is exceptional. I'm absolutely in love with the tomato soup and the Southwest bowl. Both are a must-try!
First time in a very long time since we've been here. Celebrated my New Year's day birthday here. We had a wonderful server Aly. Very pleasant and sweet. The atmosphere great, lots of televisions with various sports which was awesome. I had the salmon which was a bit tough. The overall experience was good except for the fact that it felt like we were eating in an igloo.
