There was live music on (a guy with a guit... read more Enjoyed the food (pub grub but adequate portions and friendly staff . We have been before and had a good meal drinks. There was live music on (a guy with a guitar but it was dreadful. The tunes were all a dirge and actually put me off my food (a first for me! . I'd put it down as an unfortunate choice of act @management I suggest that you reconsider the quality of live act, it actually resulted in us leaving earlier rather than staying longer.

The burgers that we had looked hand made, tasted of good quality meat and were cooked very well. For some reason, they have a 2 for 1 offer on burgers on a Monday despite being very reasonably priced anyway (as was the rest of the menu). My daughter (aged 6) was very pleased with the kids' menu, which seems to have been devised by somebody who knows children. The beer selection was a bit limited, but there was a good choice of whiskies. The person who served us (I forgot to ask her name, but she had a good selection of tattoos) asked what I liked and suggested a Balvennie 14yo, which was really nice). I just wish we lived a bit closer as I would happily go back.
