The presentation of the dishes was excellent, and the staff were impressively attentive. The serving time was punctual and met expectations. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I definitely want to visit again. The menu offers great options like Beyti Kebab, Hummous, Mixed Grill Platter for 2, and Lamb Chops. The presentation was exce... read more The food was very bland with absolutely no seasoning. Despite having a reservation, we still had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The presentation was excellent. I didn’t understand the reasoning behind the service charge since the service wasn’t any better than at other restaurants—I would have declined to pay it. Overall, the place is overrated. However, the toilets were absolutely stunning and did impress me. I wouldn’t return though. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

While the service was outstan... read more Mixed Experience at Shish Edinburgh I recently dined at Shish Edinburgh, a Turkish restaurant, and my experience was a bit mixed. While the service was outstanding—the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable—the food didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Compared to Turkish restaurants I've tried in London, the flavors here felt rather bland, with minimal seasoning, and the meat was somewhat tough and lacking in tenderness. The atmosphere was pleasant, but if you're accustomed to the rich and vibrant flavors of Turkish cuisine in London, this might not be the ideal choice.
