The restaurant has a unique building with high ceilings, creating a great atmosphere for casual pizza nights. Some customers praised the efficient service and delicious meals, giving the restaurant top ratings. However, there were complaints about poor customer service, particularly from the manager Kamila, who was rude and unhelpful when overcharged. Other guests mentioned long wait times for the bill and payment, as well as smaller portion sizes for gluten-free options. Despite these issues, the freshly made pizza and variety of toppings were highlights for many diners.

The building is truly impressive with its unique and spacious design featuring high ceilings. While it's a bit unfortunate that it's being used as a pizza restaurant instead of a music hall, it's great to see the building being utilized. The pizza is delicious, the service is efficient, and it meets expectations for a Pizza Express restaurant. I am giving it 5 stars because I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and it l... What Lisa Paris dislikes about PizzaExpress:
The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic, but the customer service from Manager Kamila is extremely disappointing. We were charged £17 more than we should have been, and Kamila was very rude and tried to blame us for the mistake. She struggled to correct the error in the till and even yelled at another staff member who tried to assist her. However, our waiter Lukas was excellent and provided great service. View all feedback.
Usual pizza express food: freshly made (you can see it being made), good range of pizza toppings, some that are unusual. Best of all is the building itself, lovely location away from main road and converted round shaped church. Coffee is the reason for only stars. There are much better coffee shops nearby
I like pizza express in Morningside mainly because the sell gluten free pizza as well as normal pizza but I don't think the customer service is very good. This is ultimately a fast food restaurant that isn't fast. If they want to justify the prices, I would suggest much better customer service. We sat and waited for around minutes after we had finished eating before the bill was brought, and when it was, it was laid on our table. We then waited a further minutes and no one offered to take payment so I had to walk toward the till and stand and wait while my family waited outside for me The gluten free pizzas are nice enough but when your year old son has a pizza twice the size of yours it's tells a tale about the size of the GF variety. Supposedly made in their factory, then why so small Overall for service for food. Would be higher for food if I was eating the non GF variety.
The restaurant has lovely decor and excellent service. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The food is always perfect whenever we dine here.
