Pizza Express Deanhaugh St - Edinburgh

The first time since 2019 eating and I had only a 4 hours drive and was tired so I wanted to get familiar somewhere. the personal was really nice and attentive, some vegan options too, but not so much dessert wise. only two vegan desserts: carrot cake and sorbet and they sold out the carrot cake (I am not so in both anyway, so I just left it) tables are all removed and the decor is beautiful. I will go back

So much I would rather support an independent company, pizza express is hard to beat when it comes to vegan pizzas. absolutely nothing like any of the other pizza chains, almost the exact opposite in style. they also now have a quite extensive vegan menu. I tried nowa pizza near about 5 times, and as much as I loved it, the pizzas have from an overwhelming taste of fat to the close of unusable. Perhaps they are better now, but try to give them the advantage of the doubt often.

Updated review: they now have a really decent vegan menu. I really like their vegan cheese (brown rice based.) they can veganize any pizza and they also have some special vegan pornstars. updated by previous review on 2021-07-11

Nowa pizza, which is a vegetarian restaurant, is just on the road, but it was closed when we went there, which was quite sad. Anyway, we wanted pizza, so we went to Pizza Express and asked for a vegan food and they even had a vegan menu! what I thought was great, they had several different pizzas and also two desserts, I think there was also a pasta dishes. we git a pizza with the classic crust and another one with the romana crust, the thinner was my opinion better.

A few vegan options but very much chain food. Nice staff and if to have to visit you won't go hungry. Novapizza is five minutes away.
