At The Palmerston, we take great pride in the quality and provenance of our ingredients. Our close collaboration with farmers, growers, and fishermen—primarily sourced from Scotland—ensures that we offer only the freshest and finest produce. This commitment allows us to present a menu that changes daily, inspired by European dining traditions, providing our guests with seasonal variations and delightful new dishes with every visit. We believe in sustainability and minimizing waste, which is why we purchase whole animals and prepare them in-house at our butchery. This approach not only allows us to highlight lesser-used cuts but also contributes to a more responsible dining experience. Many of our fruits and vegetables are sourced from local farms such as Phantassie and The Free Company, known for their dedicated sustainable practices. Additionally, our bakery produces fresh bread and pastries daily, enriching our menu further. In our commitment to giving back, we add £1 to each bill to support our house charity, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. For those looking for a superb deal, we offer a Set Lunch Menu from Tuesday to Friday, featuring 2 courses for £21 or 3 courses for £24. For larger groups of 10 or more, we provide a dedicated reduced a la carte menu at £48 per head for 3 courses. Please note that our largest table accommodates up to 12 guests, and anything beyond that requires a private hire of the restaurant—just get in touch with us to inquire.
