I loved stopping here for tea! The floral green tea was very nice. I got the cream egg cupcake mostly for novelty, but it was actually a delicious lava cake. It's a small shop so it might be full at times, but if you can get a seat then it's a great place to go. View all feedback.
What Xavier Lemoine doesn't like about Mimi's Little Bakehouse:
We were passing and the cakes looked amazing so we went in. Ordered 2 coffees. My wife chose a stick toffee muffin and it was very good. I ordered a fresh fruit scone. When it came it hand been warmed. In fact it was steaming...hot. The one thing I detest is warmed scones. If they are going to warm scones then they should ask the customes if they want warmed scones. I would have declined . Also be aware there are no... View all feedback.
This charming cafe in the city center is a gem! We popped in for a coffee and a scone, our first time trying one in Scotland, and we were not disappointed. The cheddar and olive scone was warmed up and served with a side of butter, and it was absolutely delicious. The cappuccino was also a hit - smooth and not bitter. I highly recommend stopping by this cafe!
Highly recommend this bakery for tasty treats! I tried the sticky toffee cupcake (delicious, though a bit too much frosting on top) and a light and flavorful fruit scone (could use more raisins). The cappuccino was excellent. Overall, a fantastic spot for indulging in sugary delights.
I went to this restaurant just to pick up a cupcake for my birthday, but they surprised me by lighting a candle and singing happy birthday, turning the whole experience into a sweet memory. It's a charming little spot with delicious cupcakes and fantastic coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful to everyone who came in. I wish I could give them more stars!
Really nice cafe and bakery along the royal mile of Edinburgh. The food is really fresh and tasty. I had the fruit scone which was glorious (on picture). Coffee is generally good but there is space for improvement. The negative point is that the seating is really limited and they have no bathroom. Still worth a visit!
