Reviews praise Lam's authentic flavours, generous portions and warm family service; noted highlights include paella, croquetas and fried rice, though service can be slow and kitchen hours limited.
The restaurant served dishes of incredibly high quality, leaving me eager to return for another visit. I highly recommend that others seize the earliest opportunity to dine there.
Arriving at La Sal on Howden Street at 9:35 pm on a Wednesday night may seem like a daring decision, with the kitchen getting ready to close and the staff likely eager to go home. As someone who is Spanish, my expectations for Spanish restaurants are quite high and I have to admit that Lasal has become one of my favorites in the city. Everything there (at least everything I've tried) tastes like it was made in my mother's kitchen. The restaurant is usually punctual with orders and provides a generous amount of food for the price.

Insider tip: Lam's menu leans on house-made elements — reviewers and tag cues suggest desserts and small plates (like croquetas and some sweets) are rotated and prepared in-house, so asking about the day's specialties can reveal limited-run treats not on the printed menu.
