I had a wonderful time at Bar Soba over the weekend. The service was top-notch, with the manager taking the time to ensure we had a great experience. The food was fantastic and the drinks were excellent. I will definitely be returning! The Korean popcorn was especially delicious.
Bar Soba is a restaurant in the heart of New Town that serves Southeast Asian cuisine. I have dined here multiple times and it is a great option for larger groups. They now accept the tastecard, making their already affordable meals even more budget-friendly. I enjoy their large rum cocktails, chili martinis, and Nasi goreng. The portions are generous and the food is tasty, although the service can be a bit slow due to the busy crowd in the evenings. Overall, Bar Soba is a pleasant place for a meal or drinks.
Came here on Friday night. I really like the atmosphere here, it's very cool. we have the sharing record players who were really delicious. I wish there were more. will definitely go back. jen brownlie
I like this bar in the city center! The look of it it's beautiful in my opinion, they have a good selection of drinks and beers as well. Food is good but I had better Asian food. Nice place for a quick dinner and drinks!
Me and my friend met at Bar Soba last night for dinner and a couple of drinks. We had both been before so we knew that we liked the food. When I had been previously we sat at one of the small tables but this time we were at one of the big tables in front of the bar. I definitely preferred the smaller tables for eating as the bigger tables are not as comfortable, but they would be fine for just drinks. I order the teriyaki beef noodles and Tanja had the Katsu Curry, we also shared some edamame. The teriyaki beef noodles were delicious; I hate everything and the beef was cooked perfectly for me. I wasn't such a fan of the edamame as I didn't enjoy the seasoning. It was really busy when we were in last night but that helped add to the atmosphere, and even though it was busy we didn't have to wait ages for our food. Bar Soba is a nice place to go for drinks and dinner after work or before a night out, as it is not fancy but the food is good, with prices to match. We were £20 each for 2 (alcoholic) drinks and our meals.
