Although it’s already gone, I can’t stop thinking about it and wish I had kept it all to myself instead of sharing it with my loved ones. It even won over those who usually don’t like panettone. Touted as the best pastry... read more After attending the World Pastry Awards 2024, I took my parents to Hobz Bakery in Edinburgh, and it definitely lived up to the praise. Touted as the best pastry shop in the UK so far, it did not disappoint. The cinnamon roll and especially the sesame bun stood out. The sesame bun boasts an amazing flavor with a caramelized, crunchy crust and a soft, fluffy inside. Although the coffee and tea servings were a bit smaller than expected, the pastries themselves are outstanding. Highly recommended!
