Lovely place to go close to the castle but out of the hustle bustle. Defiantly recommend stopping off for a coffee, and the sandwhich was super yummy and filling!

Lovely small cafe. I only had some hot chocolate, but stayed for a bit and read. Cozy space to get away from the hustle of the city for a bit.

This charming cafe is a must-visit. We tried the avocado, tomato, and hummus sandwich, which was delicious. They also offer a variety of plant-based milks. The atmosphere is fantastic, making it the perfect spot for a lunch before or after exploring the castle. We will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely breakfast at this tiny, charming café. The cappuccino was excellent and the chocolate croissant fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place is decorated with great attention to detail – old music cassettes and cassette recorders give it a unique and nostalgic touch, yet the café feels modern at the same time, as it’s card payment only. A real hidden gem! Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

A small and lovely café. We visited as a big family, and they kindly brought extra chairs for us — much appreciated. The cake and drinks were both satisfying. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Edinburgh. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
