Feedback
Hanams restaurant in Edinburgh received a mix of reviews from customers. Some complained about slow service and small portion sizes, while others praised the tasty food and attentive staff. The menu offers mainly meat dishes with a few vegetarian options, which are recommended to be ordered from the tapas menu. The lamb dishes were particularly popular, with customers raving about the tender meat. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with family-friendly features such as baby changing facilities and high chairs available. Overall, Hanams seems to be a great spot for Middle Eastern cuisine, with some room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and variety.
They have a couple veg options, clearly labelled. It was okay for me, but kind of slow.
A really nice restaurant with plenty of vegeterian options! Highly recommended!
The service was quite slow. Food was minuscule example, £6 for a portion of dolmas came as 4 vine leaves, £6 for mini stuffed aubergine came as 3 pieces c.2 inches each. Upon complaint the waitresses recommended we should’ve ordered more if we were hungry (despite ordering 8 dishes between 4! . Food was nice but needs to be twice the portion.
Been a while getting here and so glad that we made the effort during our recent trip to Edinburgh. The clean wooden interior is very stylish and we were made to feel so welcome by both Sasha Jess, who answered all our questions with regard to the menu. The speed of service was just right, the portion size spot on and quality of food was excellent, I don't believe it was overpriced for the area either. I can really recommend the Hummus Shawarma (from the starter menu) we shared this between us and were talking about it's taste all the way home!
