Description

Hanams restaurant in Edinburgh received a mix of reviews from customers. Some complained about slow service and small portion sizes, while others praised the tasty food and attentive staff. The menu offers mainly meat dishes with a few vegetarian options, which are recommended to be ordered from the tapas menu. The lamb dishes were particularly popular, with customers raving about the tender meat. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with family-friendly features such as baby changing facilities and high chairs available. Overall, Hanams seems to be a great spot for Middle Eastern cuisine, with some room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and variety.

Hanam’s was walking distance from our hotel and was the hangout spot for the two nights we were there. The place is amazing. We went down a flight of stairs and ended up on a terrace three floors up towards the back. The ambiance is really nice. The service is prompt and friendly. We had the cheese borek in the shape of spring rolls which came with a dip so good! The cappuccino is pretty good too. Shisha was amazing here. Nice place to check out when it’s not too cold. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace but they gave us blankets so it wasn’t too bad.

Simply delicious!!! food.... ...and they were sweet enough to fit us in at very short notice. Our meal tonight at Hanams was superb. Full of flavour and served by friendly and helpful staff. We finished with coffee and dessert but we were so so full! Fantastic...so glad we made it, and would definately reccomend!

Been a while getting here and so glad that we made the effort during our recent trip to Edinburgh. The clean wooden interior is very stylish and we were made to feel so welcome by both Sasha Jess, who answered all our questions with regard to the menu. The speed of service was just right, the portion size spot on and quality of food was excellent, I don't believe it was overpriced for the area either. I can really recommend the Hummus Shawarma (from the starter menu) we shared this between us and were talking about it's taste all the way home!

Very disappointing. This was a regular place for us dining with the family when ir was Hanams. The menu is now smaller and much more expensive. Ridiculously so. We visited for my nephew’s stag night. Considering it was St Patricks night and every othet place was chockers it was deserted. We were the only customers apart from two other people. The waitress apologised for not being able to serve our drinks as it was ramadan and other waitress had to do so. It used to be BYOB because of this but no longer. Happy to take your money for alcohol. As said the prices are shocking, probably explains why the place was empty. The food was not very impressive either. Avoid.
