I had a fantastic brunch at Grams and had a tough time choosing from all the vegan options available! I finally decided on the Turkish "eggs" (scrambled tofu), which was delicious. All the cakes were vegan and the prices were very reasonable, especially for Stockbridge.
I placed an online order for pickup at this restaurant, but unfortunately the food didn't fare well in the box and ended up a bit soggy. Despite that, the food was still quite tasty. However, they forgot to include the vegan pastry I had ordered. I think I will give this place another chance by dining in next time.
Finally managed to try the famous vegan waffles after seeing them all over my Insta feed. I had the plant based and jelly which came with granola, nuts, fresh strawberries and cashew cream. They keep refined sugars to a minimum here which is nice. My dining companion 's say cheese avocado on toast also looked pretty good. It was a lovely meal and can 't wait to come back and try one of their wholesome lunch bowls.
I wanted to order the blueberry waffles at 12pm, but unfortunately they were sold out. This led me to believe that they are not freshly made, but rather pre-made and reheated upon order. This was disappointing considering the high prices. I ended up ordering the beans on toast with tofu, but I found it lacked flavor and the tofu was hard to find. The portions were small for the price paid, and the apple juice was of lower quality. My dining companion, who is not vegan, also did not enjoy their meal. The lack of customer service was evident, as the staff simply seated us, took our order, and brought us the card reader for payment without any warmth or friendliness.
