every trip we take, we like to have a “Fantastic meal” something we would splash out a little more than we normally would, in the idea that we are already there and are vacations about the treatment they are something special, plus if we leave, we go. a lot, so I think we deserve it. I had no reservation and yet they squeezed us in nicely.
Amazing tasting experience. Presented beautifully, producing flavours you would not think to try at home. Perfect portion sizes and a unique personal dining experience with superb service from all the team. A decent wine list. I would definitely recommend. Anyone put off by set menus, that’s what a tasting experience is about, the opportunity to try things you wouldn’t ordinarily chose.
Such an incredible meal here today, highly recommended. The service was so friendly and welcoming. The food was such a gloriously crafted paring of flavours. Each dish was truly a delight. Because of the small number of tables, I'd strongly suggest making a reservation a little in advance. Perfect date night.

Shared plates are fine but maybe a little too delicate to pass around a table Don’t believe the price is correct for the quality of the food ingredients are fantastic but not really elevated beyond their natural freshness. You’re effectively paying for them to tend a small garden Wine list is overpriced for the quality, and the service charge feels a bit like a slap in the face when a dinner table for two will run you at This is also the only tasting menu I’ve had where I was still hungry at the end If you are in town and looking for something a bit different then it’s an interesting menu, but don’t go out of your way to visit.
Fresh, seasonal food in a relaxed, rustic setting. But we were left underwhelmed by the experience For evening bookings, the only offering is a set tasting menu, consisting of local produce. These dishes are good quality but a little uninspired and are neither bursting with flavour or wildly adventurous. The ingredients are generally humble and inexpensive and there is little experimentation as implied by a tasting menu. This puts it at odds with the pricing which won't leave you with any change from per person, assuming you stick to the essentials The atmosphere has clearly suffered as a result of dining restrictions, imposed on the restaurant, which removes the communal dining feel. And whilst it's not pretentious, the food and drink does not do enough to elevate it to a level worthy of the price tag If value doesn't factor into your decision making, you'll most likely have an enjoyable time here. But if you are visiting for a special occasion or rare treat, you might leave disappointed.
