El Toro Loco - Edinburgh

Popped in for a vegetarian Burrito while site seeing in Edinburgh. Though the order took time to come was really worth the wait. They have a lot of sauces kept near the table, which you can have with your Burrito. Can visit again .

Great burritosWe had a couple of burritos and were very pleased with both the taste and the quantity of food. We had them for lunch and ended up not having to have dinner when the time came

I live Mexican food, so I always try Mexican restaurants when I can and this one was not on my top anything list. Plain rice, meat and beans had no flavour and the margaritas were extremely salty. Definitely not worth a repeat visit from me....Service was quick and friendly though.

Tried this place because our favourite, Los Cardos, has closed. What a disappointment. Ordered for people online to collect and none of the toppings we ordered were on any of our food. Even the stuff we paid extra for, like guacamole, wasn’t there. All...anyone had was rice and meat. Only like single beans on one and the rest didn’t even get their beans. Not even the salsa we’d picked was on there. It was all on the receipt so no idea how they got it so wrong. Really annoyed as we paid extra for a lot of it too. Was really looking forward to burritos but won’t be back here. Will have to keep trying to find our new burrito home with the sad loss of the gem Los Cardos.
