Second visit to Dusit. Great food. Lunch menu for £16:95 is good value with plenty of choices including fried beef, duck Thai red curry( supplement £3 for duck though). Excellent service from friendly staff. A nice find on Thistle Street away from the bustle but only 5 minutes from George Street. Definitely recommend. View all feedback.
Eating was incredible, I had a duck pad kraprao so much beautiful and delicate meat in the plate and perfect aromen. all the others in our party also loved theirs. the best of this place is the enormous staff that can not do enough for them, or fast enough. my new favorite restaurant. thanks, dusit!
Dusit is a Thai restaurant with a combination of local products and spices from Thailand. After hearing so many great things about it, I was excited to finally try it out. the restaurant is small, with a relaxed atmosphere and some cool artwork. the menu is extensive and offers various types of dresses like rührfries and curries. the choice was difficult, but as someone who doesn't like nuts, I really liked that they mark all dishes with nuts with a n on the menu, this made it easier to eliminate possible decisions. However, the choice was still difficult, as the waiting staff did not really give us much time to decide and after a few extra minutes to decide, I felt under pressure and chose the first thing I saw, fortunately it turned out to be very delicious!
This is honest with one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten! I don't come to edinburgh much today, but if I do, I'll put my bags in my hotel room and go to dusit! the whole food is stunning, including the curries! they also have to try with the kokosreis. it really improves the taste of the curry! my favourite dish, the dusit curry, is one must for every Thai curry lover! and don't forget to finish the meal with mango sticky rice! mouthwater and delicious!
Dusit does good wholesome Thai food and combines that with friendly and typically Thai customer service-two reasons that make it my favourite Thai in town. Our starters were tasty although my prawn tempura was just a teeny bit greasy this time) and perfect in portion size. The mains were excellent too and I love how the vegetables are always perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch. I also don't mind paying twice as much for a freshly prepared takeaway Thai curry here as it a notch above any of the bog standard takeaway food. Well worth a visit if you are in town!
Very good authentic food, excellent service! A family favourite :
