Description

Cucina at the G&V Hotel, formerly known as Hotel Missoni, offers a nifty central location for a catch-up meal with friends. The restaurant has a beautiful sixties vibe with excellent service and delicious food, including Scottish breakfast and pancakes. Their fish dishes are impressive and well-executed, with standout options like mackerel with lemon and line-caught cod. The lunch menu is particularly recommended for its great value. The restaurant is centrally located, beautifully finished, and offers a selection of wines. The excellent service provided by friendly staff adds to the overall dining experience. Overall, Cucina is a great spot for a meal to escape the tourist crowds with good food, wine selection, and value for the money.

Great place for food to escape the tourist Food is great, the wine selection not bad. It's not a busy place so no problems getting a table and the food is good. The best value is the set menu definitely the way forward or the food will seem overpriced SJ

The very best thing about this visit was the service it was excellent. The menu was a bit limited in scope and the dishes were flavoursome but overall a bit disappointing: there id not seem to be much there on the plate. The bill did not tell me that this was good value for money in my opinion, slightly overpriced especially the wine: £8 for a glass of wine is a bit steep but then I did choose that. Ambiance was good because the restaurant was quite quiet and we had a lot to talk about. However, no attention was given to my request for a quieter table. May well go back but not for a while.

Very nice choice, particularly of you are staying at the Radisson.

On arrival had to ask bar staff 3 times where the restaurant was. Waiter gave us the set lunch menu at 7pm had to ask for larger evening menu. My wife's pasta dish was cold. Wine selection could have been broader. Dark no ambience
