Description

Copper Blossom, the latest venture from the Speratus Group, delights with its charming decor and warm atmosphere, featuring floral patterns and a stunning copper bar. While many guests praised the vibrant environment and fresh cocktails, experiences varied significantly. Some noted the high prices and a lack of attentive service, describing abrupt staff interactions and unclean tables. However, others enjoyed responsive staff and delicious small plates, highlighting the restaurant's ability to accommodate large parties. Despite inconsistencies, it's clear that Copper Blossom has potential for a lively evening with friends, should the service and cleanliness be addressed.

Came in on a Sunday at 8pm after being turned away from another restaurant and were so glad we did! The kitchen was still open and we ordered the roast chicken for two share plate and the green bean fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. The share plate came with a generous serve of roast potatoes, carrots, beetroot, and parsnip – so many veggies that we didn’t need the extra green beans, but we loved the garlic dipping sauce it came with. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and gave us recommendations for our travels around Edinburgh. The music and relaxed atmosphere made for a lovely evening. Would definitely recommend dining here! Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely service and the food was great, especially the cod tacos, which we both loved. Beautifully decorated. The only criticism was that our two quirky cocktails were a bit bland and watered down. Would go back but not for the cocktails. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was only there for drinks but felt compelled to rate the food as well. We ordered cocktails, specifically 2 pornstar martinis, and they were expertly crafted. My husband had 2 beers. The atmosphere and service were both delightful, making for a nice little treat.

Booking for 8 Food excellent however, slow service then 2 forgotten dishes and it was too late as we had an appointement in the afternoon. Payment terminal was down, we could pay in cash but they couldn't open the till to give us change. We had 8 x 20 pound notes to pay the 156 pound bill. Rather than take 140 pounds for the inconvenience, they made us wait for the card terminal to be up and running and made us late for our appointement. They took 6.50 off the bill. Poor compensation we felt as 2 of our party had no lunch.
