Good cocktails and food. Coravin is used for many of the wines so there are more interesting bottles open to try. Can be a bit loud so if you want a quiet meal this probably isn't the place. The candle lights adds to the ambience. View all feedback.

Had such high hopes. Read some great reviews. Wanted to love this place. The good, our cocktails and small bites were great. Highly recommend them. The bad, don't have dinner here. The entrees lacked any imagination. Our roast was so fatty and chewy and the pork loin was well done, dry and hard. Both came with traditional trimmings. Zero creativity. Really lovely, friendly staff. Came with my French boyfriend and his family. They said it was the highlight of their trip to Edinburgh...food was incredible!
The place is located at a nice lovely location, they serve some good food starters and mains, the music is nice and the ambience quaint and lovely, the drunks great with a lovely selection of spirits and beers. but what makes this place special is its staff. Sooo friendly, attentive, courteous and just all round amazing.. the place is lovely for big groups or for friends/ families (above 18) or even just on your date night.. great cosy setup with candles make it a cracking evening
