The food at this restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was attentive and quick. All the dishes were served hot, fresh, and delicious. Sorry this was a Bad experience and Not worth the money. Chips came half way through the Filet steak. Unacceptable for a Place with this class. Other tables had similar issues …. View all feedback.
Blackwood was my choice to dinner both nights of my stay in the nira recently. I was thrilled by both meal times over two nights I enjoyed a starter, two different main things and dessert. the chicken ulbere was delicious, while the portions all round were healthy enough. maybe a little expensive, but had excellent food and service, two visits were a tasty bite! besides good wein and whisky from a selection was their own single painting an surprise, it was a good choice for quiet eating.
Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I have booked this place for my partner's birthday. the amuse bouche was a godfather who was divine. we had cheese soufflé and butternut squash ravioli for starter, as delicious, but would definitely recommend the cheese soufflé. I had never had that before. for the net I had the seabass and was not disappointed the least and my partner had the sirloin that was boiled to perfection and the pfefferkorn sauce for dying. they brought a special free birthday dessert. all in all superior service, excellent eating and a beautiful atmosphere. would recommend a million times and will definitely be back!
The service is friendly and accurate, their wine list comprehensive and very reasonable, and the stylish dining room is packed with elegant new town charme
Had dinner tonight and loved it the service was fantastic and eating was absolutely delicious brot was served with three different butters, pesto, coriander limette and level with salt as well as a partly balsamico olive oil. they even had gluten-free bread for our GF ess accompany, although we had not told them before amuse bouche was braided ochsenwang on a mini-Yorkshire, a delightful idiot! my beginning to whistle with whisky cream sauce was so delicious I was going to swallow this, although I had promised to share with the table our steaks were cooked to perfection. there is really something about meat cooked on a josper grill. chocolate fountain to finish was good...read more
