What კახა სამხარაძე doesn't like about Bistro Provence:
bristro provence filled our bells with a wonderful firm. this fantastic French gem is a great place to go if you want to enjoy a good eating and excellent wine in the heart of leith. I received a groupon voucher for this place as a gift, and if they see a similar business growing up again, I would recommend them to catch it! View all feedback.

Fast-forward 12 months and here we were, drove our buggy into a restaurant, we knew well from his earlier incarnations like Daniel’s and then bistro la garrigue. the new-ish spot is the bistro Provence that seems to beat a clever balance between informal simple lunch during the day...read more
We decided to try some French cuisine by the shore, and Bistro Provence is situated next to restaurants like Kitchin along this strip. The establishment has apparently been a French restaurant in some form for many years. We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant. The staff kindly seated us near a heater as it was quite chilly outside. The restaurant itself is decorated in subtle color tones, with creams and classic French hues throughout, as well as paintings adorning the walls. The menu features classic French dishes, ensuring there is something for everyone. Prices for two and three-course meals were reasonable, with the three-course option comfortably under £30. Additionally, Bistro Provence offers a tasting menu option.
The standout dish on the menu was the stuffed cannelloni filled with creamed cabbage. It was rich in flavor and had a satisfying texture. While the other dishes were decent, they didn't quite measure up to the cannelloni. The service was good and we enjoyed the wine and atmosphere of the restaurant.
Fantastic! Bistro Provence is situated in the historical warehouse buildings along with Bond No 9 and other establishments. As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly and efficient staff member who escorted us to a charming sunny dining area at the back of the restaurant. We decided to try the tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was truly delightful. It was a pleasant surprise not knowing what dish would come next! The food was delicious and the selection of wines was impeccable.
The restaurant is located on Commercial Street and it's easily accessible by bus (22,35) or car.
