Awful…..staff did not understand english or allergies. Went here yesterday as a treat whilst in Edinburgh. I have allergies and made the girl aware, told her what i could have on the sushi, she told me to go for the mixed platter and she could change what i couldnt have. Her english and understanding was very poor. Then i get a plate of 6 peices if sushi brought, im confused she told me to order the mix instead but brought me both. The mix sushi, appears with everything on i cant have. I called her to table to make her aware, but suddenly couldnt understand any english. Tried to say didnt have what i cant have on it, but it definitely did. I left the lot. No offer of changing it to correct order, no soy sauce on table either had to chase for some. Ended up giving the whole mix sushi to the next table to eat, as was sure by then i was going to be charged for it. Came to pay, said i was not happy with my experience and she did not understand english or allergies, all they offered was 10% discount! Most expensive waste of money ever. Defo will not recommend this place and if you have allergies take care!
Sashimi is fresh, ramen noodle is good and flavourful. Service is great too. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
The food was mindlessly soooooo delicious , I guess I might not forget the taste , should I say I don't want to , way traditional ramen and octopus balls were crazy good and the gyoza was so crunchy outside , gave me best ramen foodcoma., was indulged in eating them , forgot to picture much
Really good Japanese place in Edinburgh. Tempura prawns and chicken kaarage really good. Wagyu don really great, beef soft and melt in mouth. Pan fried gyoza really good, nice texture rather than deep fried or steam other places do. Sear salmon nigiri was excellent. Only downside was sashimi didn't seem too fresh. Will definitely try again.
