Contribute FeedbackBeirut Restaurant offers a mix of memorable experiences and some shortcomings. Diners praise the delightful atmosphere and welcoming staff, with many appreciating the intimate decor and the BYOB option. While some dishes receive high accolades, such as the fresh taboleh and melt-in-your-mouth lamb, inconsistent quality has led to disappointment, notably during busy festival times when prices surge. Service can be a mixed bag, with some experiences marred by slow handling or reheated food. Despite these flaws, many return for the warm ambiance and the promise of authentic Lebanese flavors, making it a notable spot in Edinburgh’s dining scene.
A very nice meal perfect for vegetarian options and they will not feel hungry when they go. excellent service during the meal attentive, but not intrusive. if they have a few nights in edinburgh, this place is worth a visit. it seems to book a table is the only guarantee they receive in . love the idea to bring their own bottle
The best restaurant in edinburgh. amazing personal and incredible eating for so good value. every year cares about my birthday and never disappointed! could not recommend any more.
Okay, not so exciting, okay to just sit and have coffee and shisha. shisha's not so great. so I would not recommend this place for shisha.
My partner and I decided to have dinner at beirut this friday and we were not disapointed, this restaurant really lives up to the reviews. The welcome was very warm, our waitress was very frindly, attentive and knowledgeable. She recommended the set menu for two and we glad we took her recommendation, a big selection of amazing tasty starters, mixed grills and baklava, very good value for money. With this food, service and value for money I can say that Beirut is one of the top restaurants in edinburgh and I will defenitaly recommend it to every one.
Unforgetable lebanese experience. It was our first experience trying Lebanese food after being recommended by my work colleagues. I had went along with my husband and we brought along our own alcohol as it was BYOB, which was lovely as im fussy when it comes to drink. We were greeted by a lovely waiter who we later found out to be the owner. What a lovely personal touch we recieved from the owner and the waitresses. We had the set menu for 2 which gave us the chance to try a selection of starters, a main and dessert. The taboleh, so fresh and crisp. Highly recommend this to try. Not only was the food just fabulous but the decor was warm and intimate with the candles on. We will be back...read more
