Inside Edinburgh Airport, there are two Aspire Lounges (one on each end of the airport). I have visited both locations and found them to serve similar food and drinks, but one is better. The lounge next to Gate 16 on the upper floor is more spacious, inviting, and has a larger spread of food on display in buffet style. I'd recommend coming to this one instead unless it's too crowded. But the Aspire Lounge next to Gat... View all feedback.
What Dale S doesn't like about Aspire Lounge:
Currently having a bit of breakfast in this lounge waiting for my flight home. I am shocked that there are NO bathrooms in this lounge and surprised that their soda machine is out of order. They did finally put out some small cans of coke but they are warm. The food selection in limited and the lounge itself is quite small. The staff has been nice however and they have lots of bitter lemon and gingerale so I'll be fi... View all feedback.
The lounge is quite charming and the food selection is excellent. They offer a buffet style service, and we visited during breakfast hours. There are plenty of seats, beautiful interior decor, and fantastic hospitality. I would definitely recommend this lounge over the Plaza Premium located across from it.
This lounge is an excellent spot to spend time while waiting for your flight. It is very comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the food options are always good and varied. The lounge is clean, including the toilets, although it may be busy at times so booking in advance might be necessary. Overall, it is definitely worth the visit.
EDI has 2 Aspire lounges, with one open super early over by gate 16 and the other by gates 16 that opens at 9. We stopped in before our flight back to the states at 9. Check-in was fairly easy and breakfast consisted of a traditional Scottish breakfast, though haggis was not available. There were plenty of coffee and tea options, as well as a variety of cereals and yogurts. The bar was open, with potential upcharges for certain items. Overall, it was a good place to stop with a decent vibe and ambience. It got busier as international departures approached. Highly recommended!
Nice clean lounge, food was tasty only thing one of the service crew came in and was complaining about an Andrew. Then all she did was chat on her phone and walk around the tables. See photo attached. I had to ask her where to put my used dishes.
This was the cleanest lounge of the six in which we spent time during summer travels. The staff was constantly busy restocking and cleaning. There was a bartender (rather than pour your own) who was very friendly and generous with drink sizing. Thanks, Aspire Lounge, you are doing a great job!
