What User doesn't like about The Original Mosque Kitchen Cafe:
As a loyal customer, one year later, I have to edit my 5 star review and lower the score. I am aware that cost of living is going up everywhere but the serving price here has increased more than 10% and the rice portion has halved, so it is more like the price has gone up 25% overall, but customers's salaries haven't gone up that much so it's big price hike for most people. read moreNestled in Edinburgh, The Mosque Kitchen has garnered a loyal following for its flavorful, affordable curries and welcoming atmosphere. While some reviews highlight a noticeable increase in prices and a reduction in portion sizes, the quality remains consistently praised. Diners rave about dishes like chicken biryani and channa masala, enjoyed fresh and hot, often at a fraction of city prices. The cafe's handmade curry offerings depart from typical fast-food styles, attracting a diverse crowd, including students. With its enticing aromas and friendly staff, it offers a delightful culinary experience that shouldn't be judged solely by its exterior.
