The Jaffle Joint - Edinburgh, City of

This is one of my choices for lunch in portobello. the place itself is beautifully decorated with kooky wallpaper and magazine cuttings with a pretty back garden. everything is unique! the menu has some vegetarian options that are delicious. I recommend the freshly made strawberry milkshake, so good!

Had a really good night here with some friends, watching a World Cup game. good, decent eating and reasonable prices. only negative point, I'm always a bit lazy when I go into the money for a round and I always pay with a bank note instead of going through my change to get the right money. So I always end up with a bag full of loose change the next morning. I had changed this opportunity. unfortunately I had old round piles and a few foreign coins. they did not come from elsewhere, but from here. Yes, I think I should check my change, but it is a little sad that at least one of the staff who spent a lot of money in their pub. would stare, but for it.

The former location of one of the best pubs of portobello. now a strange mix of styles in what feels like a try to be quirky. it falls flat and seems simply chaotic. both paintings were absolutely ice cold and illuminated far to bright. the atmosphere is strange, with a terrible live music, one of the paintings I visited. the personal was always beautiful, but the owners must decide what they want to be this place.

Excellent service and bar staff are incredibly helpful. in particular scott and tyrus. for they are not too upset. great customers and a great mood. my new favorite place!

Pretty relaxed environment. The place has a good selection of beers and they all seem fairly reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and the music was decent. This places allows dogs (and even offered my dog a blanket)
