at least serve the best roasted potatoes of edimburgs, with so much variety of fillings that the choice, always vegetarian, is very complicated. we can select rice with curry, gazpacho, Greek salad, spinach, avocado, mushrooms, hummo (garma of chickpeas,) Mexican salad, and so up to 29 varieties. Heard that this was a good take-away place so thought I'd give it a try. Arrived around 6:45 and was told by the staff that they wouldn't serve us because they were getting ready to close. Really? At 6:45? Just make sure if you want to eat here that you know when they close.
Lots of vegan options, good portion size and friendly service. A few tables inside to eat in. Overall a quick, simple and healthy lunch.
The best potatoes in town! Seriously. You can’t get fed quite as much yummy food for the price point they offer anywhere else in town. If you’re on a budget, if you need to meet a variety of dietary requirements, if you just love potatoes as much as I do! The Potato shop is a staple of Edinburgh. Love them!
Amazing baked potato with an array of delicious fillings. Plenty of veggie and vegan options we’d recommend the vegan haggis or the spinach salad. This place has the science of cooking the perfect baked potato down to an absolute tee! Not much seating but both times we’ve been we haven’t had a problem. It’s a little gem to fill you up in the heart of Edinburgh.
Perfect for lunch, love the idea, cute little place, very reasonable prices, much better than some kfc, this is healthy and local
