Good dimming sum, some obviously not fresh, but a little good. overall the best they can expect in Scotland at this price point. lost a star due to lack of cleanliness, I mean, how difficult it is to float the floor before the first customer of the day comes into the blowing of the dame that runs, is very normal in hongkong where I lived, but not as polite as we expect in Scotland. However, she offered the weed baby at the table next to us an osterei, which shows that she cares though very direct.
It is a small restaurant, but cozy. I think eating is homemade. I ordered a lot, as it was in a small part, but good quality came. the restaurant is busy.
Everything was delicious and served quickly. the place is medium size and can sit some people. affordable food and good portions ideal for sharing (or keeping them all for themselves there was only one person working on the floor when we were there, and the service was not the fastest, but it could have been just one of these days. overall I recommend.
This place offered the worst service I have ever got in Edinburgh and I will never go back even if I stay in a place so close to it. The service is terribly BAD. When I first entered this restaurant, the waitress already treated me quite rude when she knew that I was going to order only one congee item. Later on, when my husband came to the restaurant and fetch me, we tried to ask the waitress if their food has MSG because my husband is allergic to MSG. We were actually planning to eat there again if their food doesn't have MSG. However, the waitress replied me with an anger both in her face and her tone, and said all the restaurants in the world had MSG, she told me even the soya sauce, the oyster sauce and even salt had MSG. If I want to avoid MSG, I should just cook at home and not eating in any restaurants. The way she said things was very impolite and rude. And she recommended my husband not to eat there as they couldn't guarantee their food wouldn't have MSG. The thing is, when she talked to me, she was in a terribly bad manner and I didn't know what did I do that offended her. I talked to her politely all the way through. The only thing I could gather was I only ordered one congee item there that made her unhappy. But still, she should not treat a customer like this. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. She gave me the worst service I've ever encountered in Edinburgh!!! I would recommend people not to eat there.
