Was Anonym at Piccolino a mag?
I am Italian, the food is delicious, real Italian and good quality. Very good wine. Prices are reasonable, honestly I expected it would be more expensive. Very good service as well, Gianvito is so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back! View all feedback.

Underwhelming experience. The food wasn’t anything special. The appetizers were fine. Carbonara was undercooked and the risotto was too salty. The service was terrible. Staff seemed nice but we had to wait a really long time for them to take our empty plates. When the time came to pay our bill the service charge was already added to the bill plus an extra tiramisu we didn’t have. Overall disappointing. View all feedback.
My husband, 5-year-old son, and I all enjoyed our meals at this restaurant. My son especially loved the pasta and even asked for another serving. We tried the Polette as a starter and the Melanise for our main dishes, both of which were delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
We stumbled upon a true gem! This family-owned Italian restaurant was a delightful find. The staff were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our dining experience. The food was superb. As a lover of seafood, I thoroughly enjoyed the top-notch quality, generous portions, and variety in my linguini frutti di mare. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is conveniently located near all the attractions of Edinburgh.
This was by far the best meal we had while in Edinburgh. The food was of a very high quality . The service was excellent , fast and friendly. Family kind of atmosphere. The BEST Tiramisu I have ever had too !!
