Greggs - Edinburgh, City of

Young rude member of staff, daughter asked to have table cleaned as it was covered in bits of food and plates, member of staff told daughter to clean the table herself. Complained to head office and received a £15 voucher to use at other stores, would not return to this branch due to rude member of staff.

It is what it is, foods fine for what you pay . Busy but grubby inside . Would of given 4 stars but the food was cold and didn’t have time to return and ask to warm up, the foods normally warm or they offer to heat up

The guy was very aggressive when I was asking for a favour to warm up my meal. He said it is not possible to warm it up, I understand, but his bully style was outrageous. The lady who personally served me was unfriendly as well. After I was eating in the place the guy was very aggressive continuously and he was yelling/arguing with her colleague about something. The atmosphere was definitely 0/10, it felt so uncomfortable to be there. I remember there was a guy who was being served before me and the bully staff was looking at him very aggressively when he did not know where he had to punch his card to pay. I wish a better life for him and hopefully any problem he has he will be able to solve. Good luck to him and to Greggs as well. The food was acceptable, by the way.

What can you say about the food from Greggs? It is consistently good and always satisfying. My only quibble is that the dining area, tables, chairs and floor could be kept a lot more presentable. That's no reflection on the staff though who are always under pressure and work very hard indeed.

Super friendly staff, popped in for lunch to take to the beach. Glad they stocked the vegan bean burrito/wrap as that was my lunch, partner had a mocha and a fudge donut (men! Staff were super friendly and the shop was nice and clean. There was the option to sit in but we took the food to the beach!
