We had an amazing time in the private room located downstairs of the main dining floor. Private bartender who kept our drinks full and the music vibe strong. Highly recommend booking this room for a special event soon. Cheers! View all feedback.
What Sarah Sue doesn't like about Pajarito:
Love the neighborhood, had to check out their happy hour. The salsas and chips were delicious. The chicken tinga tostada was average. Parking is a slight hassle but the ramp across the street helps. View all feedback.
Excellent service. Excellent drinks. Wonderful atmosphere. Food pretty good. Key lime pie pass on. Steak Excellent, Guacamole Excellent, Chips Excellent, a group of 12 people. Bill Surcharge 5
The shrimp tacos were among the best I've ever had. However, the wine list could use some improvement. While I understand that Mexico isn't Napa, there are definitely some good options available. My dinner guest raved about the cocktails, which were excellent. The restaurant was quite busy, so I believe my views are shared by many: it's a fantastic dining option.
We went out for dinner and ordered chips and guacamole, but our tacos arrived before the guacamole was served! To make matters worse, my dinner came out at least 10 minutes after my wife's. The tacos were just okay, though the guacamole was really good. Overall, everything else was quite average. It's no surprise that many of their restaurants don't last long in this area.
The ambiance is pleasant, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing during both of my visits. The first time, the service was decent, but during my second visit, the service was genuinely poor. I found the prices to be excessive; you can find much better tacos at smaller restaurants for about a quarter of the cost.
I took myself out to lunch at Pajarito and enjoyed every bite. The shrimp tacos were light, refreshing and still plenty filling. The shrimp were crispy fried, and the cabbage provided even more crunch. The mango pico de gallo corn relish made the dish, in my opinion, and the chipotle aioli gave the perfect kick of heat. I wasn’t a huge fan of the tortillas…they got soggy rather quickly, despite the fact that there wasn’t much liquid on the tacos themselves. I couldn’t resist chips a salsa flight. The arbol cashew was my favorite, with the ideal amount of heat for my tastebuds. I tried the habanero and, no surprise, it was scorching hot. I dipped a few chips until my eyes watered, then stuck with the arbol cashew and ancho guajillo. I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu soon, but my lunch was a great first impression.
