Doremi Music Studio - Edina

DoReMi is a funky little Karaoke joint with an attached restaurant and bar that is tons of fun with the friends/family. You reserve a room by the hour and you can sing all night long until your lungs give out. Order drinks to loosen up some of the more reserved friends and family and hear them sing to their favorite songs. Although lots of fun the English song selections are very limited and have been pretty stale for the last 2-3 years that I've been visiting there. This is a huge deal breaker and after your first or second visit you find yourself getting frustrated from them not having your favorite song. Not only that but the microphones and hardware setups are very poor and you unfortunately do not get some of the features of the Karaoke machines such as the end Ratings that show how well you performed the song. The microphones are also of poor quality and aren't configured correctly (One is really quiet while another is really loud) and leads to Duets being dependant on only one person and not both. The service there is excellent and their attendants are very prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend at least trying it once with a good group of friends!

I have visited this place twice. It is a fantastic spot for a small party! I have never experienced any issues with the service. While it may be a bit pricey, the sound quality is outstanding. There is a wide selection of current songs to choose from, and they also offer delicious Korean cuisine.

This restaurant is fantastic overall. The private rooms are clean and there are call buttons to order drinks and food. The food is delicious and the song selection is endless. I have been here twice and will definitely be back. It's so much fun to enjoy karaoke in a private room with just your friends.

I had a horrible time! I was planning on bringing a group here. But I decided to test it out with 2 other people. We had such a hard time searching for songs, the waitress barely checked on us, 15 dollars for a regular cocktail, we didnt even stay an entire hour but we were charged for it, the food wasn't that great either, the room was very gross, we had killed some bugs while we were there, we were singing def leopard while we were watching wild life and oceans, the background does not match! It did not put us in a rock and roll singing mood. We will be continuing our search for a better karaoke. I've had a better time singing in my vehicle.

This place is fantastic! The music selection is diverse, the staff is friendly and amazing. The private room allowed us to relax and unwind without feeling self-conscious.
