Description

Chesca's Restaurant in EDGARTOWN is a beloved Martha's Vineyard destination known for its delectable Italian dishes made with fresh coastal ingredients. Offering a delightful combination of comfort and gourmet options, Chesca's is a must-visit whether you're a local or just visiting. One of the standout attractions at Chesca's is its seafood selection, particularly the tantalizing seafood paella brimming with a variety of seafood and meats including littleneck clams, mussels, chorizo, shrimp, scallops, and even lobster. Another crowd-pleaser is the lobster ravioli served with seared sea scallops in a light sherry cream sauce. Be sure to save room for dessert as the chocolate pot de crème and creamsicle cake are not to be missed.

The ambiance is fantastic, and the food we ordered was wonderfully unique in taste and flavor. She started with a bacon-wrapped feta-stuffed date and then had the cod.

This restaurant is not what it used to be after all these years. The service is quite disappointing; you often have to ask several times for bread, water, and your drinks.

The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. If I could give it a 5.0, I would, because we had such a wonderful experience. The portions were just the right size for an individual, though it's not the best place if you're overly hungry. It was one of the best meals we've had on the island. The short ribs and paella were outstanding!

I ordered the sea mussels and lobster ravioli, and they were excellent. Another guest at our table had the short rib, which was also quite good. There was no filet on the menu, so a woman at our table opted for the sirloin, but she wasn't impressed. The highlight of our experience was definitely the server, though I can't recall his name.
