What Tara Bw doesn't like about The Newes From America:
sat down for a lunch with mu mother who came to visit for the day. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers. I ordered mine rare and it came out well done. I’m totally fine paying $27 for a cheeseburger, but damn! get it right and write down the order!!! Great drinks, great food! our server lisa ann was amazing! very attentive and sweet! many thanks for the great time lisa and team!
Lisa Ann was very accommodating when we requested to be outside in someone chilly weather. She gave us very attentive service and good recommendations on what to order. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and we'll come back for the food and service!
Lisa Ann is a legend! Ask for the strawberry spritzer, yum! We ordered the poutine, oysters and crab dip (Lisa Ann recommendations) and so so good! Wow! Also great playlist.
We were seated, provided menu's( paper ones); served water and from start to finish engaged and treated like special customers by our server. She was prompt, shared her background with some funny short stories, complied amicably and assisted us in customizing our lunch sandwich order and was always accessible to us with our beverages, food and any requests. Overall the food and the atmosphere sitting outside was delightful but it was made that much more memorable for our Vineyard guests coming to this restaurant for their first time with Lisa Ann's professional and friendly service. Thank you for a fun afternoon.
My family and I had dinner here on a Monday night when many other places are closed. Although we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, the hostess was very accommodating to our one handicapped family member and let her sit inside, gave her a blanket and added a log to the fire. Our server, Lisa Ann, nearly single-handedly covered the entire dining room with grace and humor. The fisherman's chowder, the clam chowder, and the rueben were particularly good. Lisa Ann was very helpful with the wine selection as well. We love it here.
