Very disappointed in the food. Ordered fish tacos and it was pre-formed fish triangles that were obviously from frozen. Barley warm and zero taste. The fish was on top of three flat shells with a tiny side of salsa. That's it.
My family and I stopped by while traveling. The dining atmosphere is minimal and quaint. Wait time for our food was as expected. The wrap I had was delicious! Not sure if the waitress was flustered but she didn?t seem to have time for us. Note: there?s nochanging table in the restroom.
Stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday with a large party. Friendly, inviting atmosphere, and we were sat immediately. The menu was encompassing, something for everyone. Food took a bit, but the refills kept coming and it was worth the wait. Waitstaffhandled the busyness in stride. The food in my party looked awesome, huge sandwiches, fresh toasted clubs, Reuben?s- nocomplaints. However my Caribbean jerk chicken salad left me wanting. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.
Seated promptly. Server took a bit to come by, but was nice professional. Ordered the Chicken Club w/fries the Jamaican Jerk Salad. Chicken Club was dry, though it stated it was marinated. An inch of both ends of the Bacon strips were burnt. I requestedthe first come out crispy. And they did. The fries were the best part. Excellent. The Jamaican Jerk was a bit on the mild side.Definitely not like real Jamaican Jerk, but a good try. The Jamaican Jerk chicken did seem to have been marinated. It was tender juicey. The flavors could have been a bit more bold. 309 Bistro is a quaint little place. We beat the crowd. I imagine so manyvisit partly due to lack of decent choices. Still, a good place to dine. But would definitely try other items in the menu. I betsome are excellent. We'll visit again.
We had family visiting for Christmas and chose 309 for dinner Dec 27th for dinner. Terrible choice, our waitress was clearly in a hurry to get us out asap even though there were only 3 tables with patrons. She took our order only to come back 5 min later to tell us the restaurant was out of what 2 selections we ordered and by the way we also don't have XYOr Z. Oh and we don't have any bread because we just opened up after Christmas and the bread went stale.Really ! So she brought us package crackers, which were stale. Just a bad experience.
